Will Smith in Talks to Play Genie in New 'Aladdin' Movie

Rumors are swirling that Will Smith is set to take part in Disney’s Aladdin from Guy Ritchie.

The new live-action musical which would feature Smith as the voice of Genie, was made famous by the late Robin Williams in the 1992 animated film.

According to Deadline Hollywood, it is supposed to start in the U.K in July and wrap early next year. The first Aladdin grossed $504 million.
