At Least 50 Dead, Hundreds Injured During Music Festival in Las Vegas
Suspected shooter has been identified
At least 50 people have died from gunshot wounds and more 400 were injured following the largest mass shooting in the United States. It happened during an outdoor concert last night in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Las Vegas Police Department Sheriff Joseph Lombardo explained in a news conference that officers responded after reports of shots fired from 32nd floor of the Mandaly Bay hotel and resort.
The suspect was described as a "local resident", and is dead, and the police believe there are no other shooters.
The LVPD Sheriff identified 64-year-old Stephen Paddock as the suspected shooter.
