Sleep Longer at Night by Drinking Cherry Juice

Researchers have found if you drink Montmorency tart cherry juice one hour before you go to bed, you will sleep longer. It is said to give you up to 84 minutes more of snooze time.

According to the Daily Mail, it is a natural sleeping aid that stops the build-up of chemicals in your brain which cause poor sleeping habits. The study based out of Louisiana State University reflects on the results of several insomniacs tested who drank two glasses per day.

If you're looking to try this out at home, you can purchase the cherries dried, frozen, canned or juiced. Researchers on this project proved that sleep efficiency was increased, however, no other significant changes were recorded.
