Hulu Cancels Julie Klausner and Billy Eichner's 'Difficult People' After Three Seasons

Hulu has canceled the comedy series Difficult People after three seasons. The series, which was created by comedian Julie Klausner, had three seasons on the streaming giant.
Klausner starred in the series as Julie Kessler, an aspiring New York City the series and she served as the show's executive producer. Billy Eichner (Billy on the Street) co-starred as Billy Epstein (Kessler's best friend, who was also an aspiring comedian).
The series showed a unqiue look at the frinedship between a straight woman and gay man, as the pair are incredibly self-obsessed. In fact, they didn't seem to like many people and they were not exactly liked by others.
Amy Poehler served as an executive producer on the show since its 2014 premiere. The show's third (and final) season wrapped on Hulu in late September.
Eichner thanked fans of the cult classic show on Twitter last night, and he also paid tribute to the series' creator:
Yes it's true. DIFFICULT PEOPLE has come to an end. Thanks to many people but above all my friend, @julieklausner. A singular comedic voice & the funniest person I know. I cannot WAIT to see what Julie creates next. Thanks to all of you Difficult People out there who watched.❤️
