Just one serving of fruit and vegetables is as good for your mental health as taking a walk.  Just one extra portion of produce a day has the equivalent effect on mental well-being as eight extra days of walking per month.  We all know eating fruit and vegetables can benefit our physical health. Now research has found they can help our mental well-being and life satisfaction. So eat your veggies, like your mama told you.
