Furry Fursday: Meet Honey

Belly rubs and kisses sweet as..

December 1, 2016

Meet Honey, one of the sweetest doggies you will ever meet! Honey is a two-and-a-half-year-old Labrador retriever who will really show you what love is all about. Belly rubs are her favorite and she will give you many kisses to thank you after a snuggle party. She is also a star athlete dog and just loves to run around and play. Her ideal home would have a large yard where she can have plenty of space to let out her playful energy. She takes a moment to meet her human, but once she has been introduced she becomes a lifelong friend and companion who will stay by your side forever.

You’ll be rockin’ around the Christmas tree and the Menorah during the annual Holiday Lights for the Animals event. The walls of the Soffer and Fine Adoption Center will surely be decked and ready to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with all of our four-legged friends on Saturday, December 3rd from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.

What you can expect:

A Very Merry Scavenger Hunt

Cookies, cupcakes, hot chocolate and more tasty treats

Holiday performances

A special appearance by Santa Paws as he arrives on the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue truck from the 22nd station as the shelter becomes illuminated with twinkly holiday lights!

The 5th annual Holiday Lights for the Animals event is a celebratory event for the annual fundraising campaign for our Humane Society of Greater Miami. You may use this opportunity to make a holiday gift in honor or memory someone you love; we will send them a letter notifying them of your generous donation in their name. Your donation will help light up the lives of hundreds of shelter pets at our Soffer and Fine Adoption Center.
