Furry Fursday: Meet Angela

A senior stray looking for a forever home

August 4, 2016

Angela is a ten-year-old Chihuahua mix who is an absolute sweetheart. She was found as a stray on Ives Dairy Road. This senior pet is gentle and affectionate. She is the perfect doggie for someone looking for a dog they can sit back and relax with throughout their day. Watching TV? She will take a seat on your lap and watch along with you. Reading a book? She will cuddle up next to you. Angela is a great doggie who will stay by your side and give you lots of unconditional love.

Florida Animal Friend Partnership to Spay/Neuter Pets for Just a Very Low Co-Pay

Do you live in the zip code area 33161 or 33162 and need your dog or cat fixed? Thanks to a grant from Florida Animal Friend, people living in those two zip codes can now spay/neuter your dog or cat at our clinic located in North Miami Beach for a very small co-pay: just $25 for dogs and $15 for cats.

This great assistance will bring our community one step closer to ending the problem of pet overpopulation and in order to help Florida Animal Friends continue to do everything they do for animals across the state, we strongly encourage all animal lovers to purchase a Florida Animal Friends license plate. Every license plate purchase ensures additional funding for low cost or no cost spay/neuter programs in Florida. By purchasing a tag you are saving the life of a furry friend in need.

Show your support by bringing your pet to our North Clinic, located at 16101 West Dixie Highway in North Miami Beach, to get spayed or neutered and by purchasing a beautiful Florida Animal Friend license plate today!

To make an appointment to spay or neuter your pet, please call 305-749-1827 or visit www.humanesocietymiami.org. To purchase your special license plate, visit http://floridaanimalfriend.org/purchase-a-tag/.
